Overview
Full-Tilt is one of my favourite online poker rooms to play at. One of the biggest attractions is that you are able to play and compete against some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Phil Ivey and Mike Matusow. There is no doubt that Full-Tilt offers great software and customer support, which is amplified by the fact that US players are still being accepted. If you are a new player looking for your first room to sign up at, or you are simply looking for a change of scenery, Full-Tilt Poker comes highly recommended.

Software
It is unlikely that you will encounter any problems with the Full-Tilt software. The client takes slightly longer than most to load, but this is really un-noticeable and it won’t be causing you any frustration when you click the icon on your desktop. The lobby and table loads smoothly, and you can easily navigate between the different tables and stakes via the tabs in the lobby. The window to list the tables is large, so that you can easily see what tables are on offer and compare them with the stats provided next to the name of the table.
Graphics
The graphics provided by Full-Tilt is an acquired taste. When I first saw the screenshots of the room, the cartoon-like avatars and general table appearance put me off. Therefore I did not sign up or deposit there for some time. However, I decided to give it a try to see what all the fuss was about, and I can fairly say that the graphics are not as bad as I expected. For some reason the avatars and table layout helps to involve you in the game so that you can make better reads and plays, which is definitely a bonus for any serious poker player.

Full-Tilt is one of the biggest online poker rooms. The fact that the room still accepts US players means that a lot of players migrated to Full-Tilt when other rooms stopped accepting US customers. After signing up for a Full-Tilt account, the majority of players will remain there and not look for another room, as Full-Tilt provides everything you could possibly want from a poker room, including great customer support.
Competition
With the high volume of players, it is only natural that there are a lot of bad players for you to take advantage of. However, I have found that there are far more good players in general than at some of the other big name rooms. There is no doubt that there are numerous easy-to-beat tables on Full-Tilt, it is just that it requires a little more time and effort to find them.
